Lately Facebook added this option to make it easy for us to see friend requests we have sent.
You can go directly to previous requests by pressing on the following link or see how you can go to there inside Facebook.
Go to previous requests by clicking here
Click on friend requests icon at the top of facebook page
Click Find Friends

Click View Sent Requests
You'll find all the friend requests you have sent previously and you can cancel any friend request by hovering over Friend Request Sent and selecting Cancel Request.
